:

No other school in Ohio in recent years has more visitors than Martins Ferry. Over 1500 visitors in the year! WHY is that?  The answer is quite simple; they had to see if it is TRUE

  • Is it TRUE that this district in the high poverty area of the Ohio Valley has made dramatic jumps in student achievement and Proficiency Test scores in less than 18 months?
  • Is it TRUE that they went from the lowest school district in their region on Proficiency Test scores to the best in less than a year?  “From Worst To First”

Those visitors see this and now you have the opportunity to see it also and LEARN HOW TO DUPLICATE their success.

This Workshop is definitely  “NOT” a “Sit-And-Git”!  It is high energy, interactive, and very rewarding!  The day will focus upon “What Works” and “What Is Working” in Schools and Classrooms!

This one-day event will have a more positive impact upon your entire school year, student achievement, and school discipline and school climate than anything else!

Come as a Team…Teachers, Administrators, Tutors, everyone will leave with something useful.

This is a great opportunity for you and your colleagues to learn how to “close the gap” in student achievement with an integrated approach that involves:

  • Quality tools and techniques used to sustain and support your improvement efforts
  • …The use of data as tools to identify improvement opportunities.

Successful schools use data to drive decision-making that is aligned with the district’s vision and mission.  After spending the day with the team from Martins Ferry, you will look at you school/classroom with new eyes and find those elements that, if aligned, can make all the difference.   As they have done for over two years at workshops and the Quality Improvement Academy, team Martins Ferry will provide clear and concrete examples to teachers and administrators that will able you to see how the journey to “effectiveness” is sensible and achievable!

At all workshops, participants will:
